Well, summer is wrapping up which is always a little sad. Labor Day weekend at the Lake was half rained out by the remnants of Hurricane Isaac but we still had lots of fun. We took the scenic route to the Lake and ate at a great restaurant in New Haven, MO and saw some nice scenery along the river. Emily is into caves and minerals thanks to Dinosaur Train so we went on a cave tour on Saturday which she loved. Luckily the weather cleared up on Sunday so we were able to get out on the water some too. School starts this week and Emily can't wait!
