15 Month Check-up

Emily had her 15 month check-up yesterday. She got a clean bill of health and behaved very well for the doctor though she did HATE her shots. She came in at 31" tall (69%) and 23 lbs 4 oz (57%). She seems to be fully recovered from the shot trauma now and is busy, busy again!

Sitting in a big girl chair at a Parents as Teachers event. She LOVED running around with the other kids. This was the only time she was slow enough to get a photo!

Happy, Happy

Emily continues to be at her happiest when she is busy, busy (as you can see in the pictures). We are also starting to hear some real words now: daddy, doggie, ducky, uh-oh, baby, up, down and bunny are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there will be lots more soon (hopefully mommy will be one of those)!

Fun Stuff

Emily is a very, very busy girl! She loves to walk outside and visit with all the kids and dogs in the neighborhood. It is pretty much non-stop motion from the time she gets up until she goes to bed. She is also very chatty these days. It is super cute when she has a "conversation" with you!

Emily likes standing on her car seat much better than sitting in it!
