Emily made a break for it into the kitchen all by her self. She isn't crawling yet but she is getting very good at getting around just by rolling and scooting.

8 Month Birthday

Today is Emily's 8 month birthday. She is growing up so fast! On Sunday she sat up all by herself. She way playing on the floor, laying on her back and next thing Daddy and I knew she was sitting up with her toy. We saw her do it several more times after that. She is very busy with her toys and scoots around to get them but there's no crawling yet.

The Latest

Here are some of the latest pictures of Emily. She is modeling her Osh Kosh overalls. Two more top teeth have appeared bringing the grand total to 7. Otherwise, we are just hiding from the super cold weather.

New Tricks and Another Tooth!

Emily has picked up a couple of new tricks here recently. She can now pull herself up onto her knees from sitting when she has something to hold onto. She demonstrated this for Mom and Dad in her crib while Mom was packing for the Lake. Dad also gave her a little driving lesson while on the Lake trip.

She is also growing teeth like crazy! Emily's second top tooth has just barely broken through. That brings the total to five!

Cheerios are Yummy

Emily ate her first three Cheerios on Sunday. She needed a little help from Mom on a couple but is getting the idea. She isn't quite sure what to make of them yet but thinks she likes them.
