Last week brought us some wonderful weather and we were able to get outside and play. It was so nice to have some warm weather! We had a very nice Valentine's Day too. Emily got lots of valentines this year... she loved her flowers from Poppy, singing guy from Grammy, balloons from BeBe and BoBo. She also got valentines from Mommy (a book and stickers) and Daddy (pillow pet) and I think her favorite was from her friend Sarah who walked up the street to drop off a little present. It was lots of fun!

Snow Play
We finally got Emily out to play in the snow. We have had plenty of snow this winter but it has always been terribly cold afterward and not ideal conditions for a 2 year old. This Saturday we got some fresh snow and then it warmed up so we could go out and enjoy it. Emily hated getting into all her snow gear and was none to pleased when we drug her outside. She warmed up to it though. At first she hated sledding too but once she saw both mommy and daddy doing it she wanted to try again and then loved it. Nothing is truly fun unless it is her idea!
Playing inside on one of our super cold days. She is putting her alphabet puzzle book back together.

Finishing Up January
Well, we have survived a rough, wintery January by St. Louis standards. Boy are we ready for spring! Last week brought us Emily's first ear infection. After a couple of doses of medication, she was back to her old self and ready to go, go, go.
We had a great weekend last weekend after being cooped up sick the previous weekend. On Friday we went to The Magic House to get a sneak peak at the "Bob the Builder" exhibit that opened on Saturday. It was really cute and Emily loved it. On Saturday we went to see "Sesame Street Live" with our neighbors. Emily really liked it and watched intently. It was really cute and so much fun to see her so happy at seeing something new.
Driving a "bobcat" at the "Bob The Builder" exhibit. She drove a lot of different types of heavy equipment, built a wall and picked flowers and vegetables.
