Boy has it been hot around here! We have managed to find lots of fun things to do anyway (mostly inside). We have also been working hard on potty training and Emily is doing great with it.

On Friday we went to the Transportation Museum. Emily liked it but wished she could ride on all the trains. Her she is posing in a tanker car that you could walk through.
On Saturday, Daddy and Emily went to a kids workshop at the Home Depot. They built a pencil box together. Here she is showing off her handy work and modeling the cute little apron she got. She loved it and is super proud of the pencil box she built.
On Sunday, we went to ride the Wabash, Fisco and Pacific model railroad. Emily had been demanding to ride a train since we went to the Transportation Museum. She had been asking to take a train to another time period like they do in Dinosaur Train. She seemed OK with passing over a bridge along their route into a "new time period" and back. We rode this train a couple of times last summer but she was way more into it this time. It was lots of fun!
