Long Overdue Update

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted a blog update. I'm not sure where the time goes sometimes. We are rapidly approaching Emily's third birthday. I can't believe she is going to be 3 already! Time is flying by! Otherwise, not much is new. Mommy and Daddy went on their first trip without Em to Las Vegas for a friend's 40th birthday. We had lots of fun (though we missed our girl a lot) and Emily had a blast with both of her grandma's who came out to watch her. She really handled us being gone well, we were proud of her! This coming weekend it is off to Indy to celebrate her birthday.

Here's some pics of our activities over the past few weeks...

Cameron's company was a big sponsor of the FIRST Robotics competition which was in town for the national finals. He was volunteering one day and Emily and I went down to visit him and see the robots. She loved the robots! Here she is watching one of the robot competitions. As you can tell, she was really into it! It was a very cool event and will be here for at least the next couple of years so I'm sure we will go back.

Riding her tricycle. She is getting much more better at riding it and more independent. Her favorite thing to do is to ride up our front walk, have one of us turn her around and then ride back to the driveway, do a loop and ride back down the walk. This is what she is doing in this pic. When she gets to the end of the walk she rings the bell on her bike to tell you she wants turned around...very fun!


Emily's first ride on the new jet ski. We went to the lake Mother's Day weekend to pick it up. The weather was gorgeous so she and Daddy got to test it out.
