Thanksgiving

We went to Sarasota with Cameron's family for Thanksgiving. We had a great time and the weather was perfect (sunny and 80+ every day). Emily had a blast. Last year she hated the beach but not this year! Last year she wouldn't touch her feet to the sand: would just pull up her knees and curl her toes. This year, as soon as we got to the beach the first time, she asked to take her shoes and socks off like Mommy and Daddy. So, we made several trips to the beach after that!

Going for a swim. She is becoming more and more independent in the water. She would just swim off and tell Daddy to "stay there" instead of following her around.

Playing in the sand down by the water. She loved the ocean too and would run in and out and splash around. There was definitely no fear and she kept wanting to go in deeper and deeper.
