Keeping Busy

Not much is new around here. Emily is keeping us plenty busy. It is hard to get a good picture of her these days since she is in constant motion. We're looking forward to fall and going to the orchard and pumpkin patch! Here are a few new pics that we were able to grab before she moved on to her next activity:

Well, we're back from our fun trip to the lake. Not much is new on the home front...just trying to get back into the swing of things at home. Here are some more pics of our lake fun:

Lake Firsts

We have been enjoying a nice vacation at the Lake this week. It has been quiet and relaxing. Here are some photos of Emily trying out some new stuff with the reduced lake traffic:

First ride on a big boat (Bill's 38' Formula) and first trip to Party Cove. It was the NFT (No F*^%&^& Tourists) party and was very tame so she wasn't scarred for life.

Well, we're on our second day without a bottle and so far so good. By lunch yesterday, Emily was drinking her milk from a sippy cup without protest and has been fine since. Hopefully, this keeps up and our bottle days are behind us!

15 Month Check-up

Emily had her 15 month check-up yesterday. She got a clean bill of health and behaved very well for the doctor though she did HATE her shots. She came in at 31" tall (69%) and 23 lbs 4 oz (57%). She seems to be fully recovered from the shot trauma now and is busy, busy again!

Happy, Happy

Emily continues to be at her happiest when she is busy, busy (as you can see in the pictures). We are also starting to hear some real words now: daddy, doggie, ducky, uh-oh, baby, up, down and bunny are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there will be lots more soon (hopefully mommy will be one of those)!
