Our Funny Valentine

Emily was spoiled rotten on Valentine's Day (big surprise)! Below are some pics of her big Valentine's Day.

We are very tired of this winter weather and ready for spring so we can get outside and play. In the meantime, we still have story time, Little Gym and swimming to keep us occupied.

The bear was originally hugging the flower vase but she demanded that it be taken off and given to her immediately.

Party Girl

We threw a big Super Bowl party this weekend and Emily had a blast. There were lots of other kids around so she got to run wild, eat lots of cheese ("eese") and crackers, and stay up late. Everyone seemed to have a good time but the kids seemed to have the most fun.

Ready for the Super Bowl. The Colts jersey didn't help Indy out much but she had on her Purdue shirt too for our man Drew Brees.

Activities Galore!

We've been trying to keep Emily busy, busy lately since we are stuck inside with all of this cold weather. We go to story time, swim lessons and Little Gym. She seems to like it a lot...especially playing with other kids.

Daddy went with us to The Little Gym this week so we got some pictures. Here she is hanging from the bars (with a little help from Mommy).

Climbing

Emily has officially discovered climbing. She pulls herself up onto the kitchen chairs and the rocker in her room. She is very proud of herself for accomplishing this too! We've started going to the Little Gym on Thursdays so maybe she'll be able to get her climbing fix in a more appropriate place. :)

Emily and Daddy in a cave (she wasn't being very cooperative for photos). We went to Meramec Caverns over the weekend. It was really neat and Emily liked all of the water in the cave.

Funny Girl

Not much is really new in the zoo. Emily is picking up at least one new word a day and it is super cute! She is also becoming very interested in climbing and rough housing. Here are some of the latest pics...

Emily has discovered she can sit in the window sill and loves it. She always looks super cute sitting up there looking around!

Brr, It's Way Too Cold!!

OK, we are pretty much sick of this frigid weather. It has us hiding inside more than normal so it's a good thing Emily got lots of new toys for Christmas to keep her occupied. We may be getting snow tomorrow and our first below zero temperatures (without wind chill) in over a decade in the next couple of days...something to look forward to! When does lake season start?!?!
